Refund Policy

Effective date: September 9, 2026
Last updated: September 9, 2026

Our 14-day refund promise

We want churches to purchase ScamSmartChurch training with a clear understanding of the refund terms. Unless a checkout page or written agreement states a different policy, eligible digital-training purchases may be refunded when the request is received within 14 calendar days of the original purchase date.

You may request an eligible refund for any reason during that 14-day period. After the 14-day period ends, purchases are nonrefundable except when required by law or when ScamSmartChurch agrees otherwise in writing.

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to purchases of the Scam Demonstration Lab, the Founding Church Scam-Safety Kit, self-paced online training, and included digital downloads sold directly through ScamSmartChurch.com.

A separately purchased live workshop, custom consulting service, group event, or other service may have different cancellation or refund terms stated in its proposal, agreement, invoice, or checkout page. Those specific written terms control that purchase.

2. How to request a refund

Email privacy@scamsmartchurch.com before the 14-day deadline. The request must be sent from the purchase email address or include enough information for us to locate and verify the order.

  • Your name
  • Your church or organization name, if used for the purchase
  • The email address used at checkout
  • The product purchased
  • The approximate purchase date

You may include a reason, but a reason is not required for an otherwise eligible request.

3. What happens after approval

An approved refund will be sent to the original payment method when possible. After ScamSmartChurch issues the refund, the payment processor or your financial institution controls when the credit appears.

When a refund is issued, the related license and course access end. You must stop using, copying, presenting, or distributing the refunded videos, lessons, downloads, checklists, and other materials. Files already shared internally should be removed where reasonably possible.

4. Requests that may not qualify

  • Requests received more than 14 calendar days after the original purchase
  • Purchases made through another seller or platform that controls its own refunds
  • A repeat purchase after the same customer or church previously received a refund for substantially the same product
  • Accounts connected with fraud, stolen payment methods, unlawful use, or material abuse of the license
  • Live workshops, consulting, custom work, or events governed by separate written terms
  • Fees or exchange-rate differences charged by a bank or card issuer rather than ScamSmartChurch

Nothing in this policy limits a refund or other remedy that applicable law requires.

5. Duplicate charges and technical problems

If you believe you were charged twice, charged the wrong amount, or unable to access a purchase because of a technical problem, contact us promptly. We will investigate and correct verified billing errors or work to restore the access you purchased.

Please contact us before starting a chargeback so we have a fair opportunity to resolve the problem. This does not take away any rights provided by your card issuer or applicable law.

6. Policy changes

We may update this Refund Policy for future purchases. The policy in effect on your purchase date will normally govern that purchase unless a later change gives you more favorable rights or the law requires otherwise.
